The feedback and support for my works on here has done a massive confidence boost for me and my ability to animate, as well as hitting the big boy number on the follower count! Of course, numbers don't matter -- or rather, shouldn't matter -- but I still appreciate folks enjoying whatever I create :')

I don't have anything special prepared for this, just making this milestone journal to archive this moment for myself... Maybe!

I've finally joined to support Newgrounds! Been debating on doing so for awhile, even before the epic Newgrounds fugable token avatars, and I'm glad I'm part of the cool squad

The icon shapes were just a cherry on top for me, I just love to customize things lmao Not to mention, always loved this place and its community, so I'm happy to give any help I can

As for any general nuclear-smash updates?

This is the last month of semester, had next Video Game Essayist animation voiced, editted and even storyboarded for awhile now, just finishing up my last assignments for this uni year before I can properly work on the animation without a fear of failing my classes. Kinda sad the joke itself will be lowkey 'outdated' by the time I upload, but it's fine, it's part of the VGE lore that matters :)

What else can I update with? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I also got sick lmao but thankfully it's just me uncontrollably coughing for few days (usually it gets worse)

Oh, and I sorta learned to animate a bit in Maya for one of the assignment, so mayhaps someday I could show my knowledge in one of my future cartoons... maybe!

WOO YEAH BABYY!!! First time getting that sweet first place trophy of my animations!!!

This is a big deal to me since the 'toon itself is 100% my original work, i.e. not a friend group project (like END-venturers me and my lads are working on) nor a fan-animation of famous medium NOR a music video with a mad copyrighted song being slapped on! Not to mention, I also tried voicing the character as well while I 100% know I'm not a voice actor lmao But it's all for funs and gags so should it really matter?

Seriously, though, thank you to all who watched, rated and commented on the animation, I'm planning on doing more Video Game Essayist related cartoons and already have two of them in mine at the moment!

If you're overall new to my works, I've only recently found time to actually animate and mostly did "music videos" because I always had lack of writing skills to script anything good

Just going to ramble a bit about my art in 2021

I've compiled an art summary for 2021, which unlike other years, have popped off! I feel major improvements and I'm generally very happy with how my art style looks like now

VERY happy with colors and my use of shapes! Although, I still want to experiment more with my works and try different approach, after all there's always space for improvements :)

Here are some top 5 of my works:

I really started the year right with Minecraft Ender-Steve doodles, I love this game a lot and wish I'd make much more for it.

I really like Big the cat's design, wanted to draw him for a long time. I kinda can't have a year without drawing a Sonic fanart, there's just something satisfactory in the designs.

This one's definitely an achievement -- not only one of my best works so far, but also got a second place prize in the Fancy Pants art contest! Looking forward on replaying all the classic games on Steam -- Fancy Pants was a huge part of my childhood! (And internet addiction! Whoops)

This is my character Kai (he's Polish) whom I've been trying to draw for years but end up only making doodles that never see the light of the day. I'm glad 2021 changed that and I managed to make something sweet out of him! This also has to be one of my top favorite works I've ever done.

This one's simple, but very pleasing to me. Haven't drawn Pokemon in ages, having something drawn after a long while of consuming Digimon-only content was kind of.. relaxing least to say lol Not going to play any new Pokemon games, though. Kangaskhan's design is mad good to draw, though, I've never realized how much they popped off in gen 1.

That's really about it, those are my top 5 arts I've done this year!

Well, that should be it for the journal, I know this is just me rambling about my works and nothing of special, but hey, gatta start new year positively and looking at some achievements :)

Had an issue that I wrote 2st instead of 2nd like a dummy I am, and also did some audio fixing too cuz something was lower volume, but yeah! Something animated of mine is uploaded for once which isn't too old! :D

Lately I've been animating lots again, every day at my screen tablet, drawing frames and listening to banger music, and just had a small thought.

Everyone has their inspiration to create, right? Be it for art, animation, music etc., so I wanted to know what inspires others to create, what inspires you? If you create, that is!

Just so it won't be whoever comments alone, I'll start:

My inspiration comes from indie, small animators who make their cartoons for fun. The reason why I'm on Newgrounds in the first place is because that's where a lot of those cool creative minds originate from! A lot of the times I'd even catch myself rewatching old toons I saw as a kid online here just to get that sweet dopamine to animate more.

A smaller, weirder inspiration also comes to me from listening to some Christmas music (mostly jazz covers nowadays) no matter what season it is, solely because I liked a lot of Christmas special animations as a kid lmao

These won't be forever, just when I have enough for the rest of the month!

Usually the cost of this shading style specifically is 40 Euro, but now it's 30 Euro.

As the reason why I'm reviving; I live far away from home in Ireland. I study here and I've been trying to get a job but it's hard with the university I have in the way. It also doesn't help that I live with high risks and getting an apartment here by myself is nearly impossible due to prices. Any sort of financial support I have is my parents, who send just enough for me to get by, but they're not rich either. I don't want to always leech off of them forever and I still want to do what I love - animating - so that's why I set up a Patreon, again.

I'm an animator, I make cartoons when I can. Even if it's not a lot as of now, but I have a series done with me and my friends called END-venturers, which is about two idiots Rasty and Alma (Alma's drawn right there drawn next to me lol). There's a "pilot" that I uploaded here awhile back, it's not that good, but I swear the next episode is going to be better in every aspect lol

Aside from that I try to make parodies of things I like, like video games and etc., but that's for the future.

So if you like what I do, or want to see it get anywhere, whatever's your reasoning, I'd really appreciate any kind of support, even just spreading the word. I'm very ambitious but unfortunately broke :') ...and in a whole 'nother country.

As for what you're getting in return for supporting...

Well, behind the scenes stuff, animatics, WIPs, sketches for new arts and concept arts for projects. That's all I can give as of now, but mayhaps in the future I'll be able to send merch, who knows! Probably would need a huge following for that, though.

Hello, everyone! All the new and old followers, those who also probably don't know me at all!

2020 was really a trip, can't say a good one, but sure was an experience for many of us.

As for me, it had its huge downs and ups. But by the end of it, I posted two, probably best (and frontpaged!), arts and got a lot of new followers, making me go above 350 followers! Which was crazy, a lot of cool people followed me too and I just can't believe it.

In August I participated in my first NG contest, winning 2nd place, which was a good motivator, but sadly all the changes (online classes, quarantine, me flying from my homeland to Ireland) made me struggle to keep up with my projects. But! On the nicer note -- I managed to still animate every month! Not all's uploaded here cuz I don't think it's good enough, but I have compiled the good stuff together;

If you see a lot of WIPs there with two reoccurring characters, then those are Alma and Rasty (That were also in the contest entry art) from the my friends and I series END-venturers. I kept posting journals saying that I'm working on the next cartoon with them, but as I said earlier, quarantine got me stressed and I only managed to animate bits of the episode. THO! END-venturers will still become a thing! Sooner or later! I failed my 2020 resolution of posting more END stuff, but I have a good feeling that 2021 is going to be much better for my projects.

Actually posting END-venturers is my new years resolutions for every year, because there are 10 episodes planned and I hope someday to see the 10th one uploaded. Another of my new years resolutions is also to get into music-making. I actually did create music this year, which honestly doesn't sound that good, but it's still my first try! I even compiled all of them into this small video (with their original titles and all!);

I hope this new year I'll practice more and get more proper songs out that won't be embarrassing to post into the portal :)

Oh! And with all of that, maybe get to create a small game, too? Well, that one's a bit far-fetch'd but would be cool to see if I can manage to learn more media that's not animations.
